Founded in 1947 by Luciano Canella in San Donà di Piave, Canella began as a Prosecco producer for the family osteria.
Born in Venice, Canella brings a heritage of Italian elegance and celebration. From crafting Prosecco for a family osteria to creating the world’s first Bellini in a bottle, the brand captures the spirit of effortless indulgence.
Today, Canella continues to blend tradition with modern taste, offering a collection of light, refreshing sparkling cocktails made for sharing and celebration.
In the Republic of Venice, a vibrant café and cocktail culture gave rise to iconic drinks like the Bellini, first created at Harry’s Bar.
Traditionally made with 3 parts Prosecco and 1 part Italian white peach purée, the Bellini was only available for a few months each year due to the seasonal nature of white peaches.
Canella changed that by bottling the Bellini, making this celebrated Venetian cocktail accessible to enjoy anytime, anywhere.
